Have you made it to our Guild of Vermont Furniture Makers: Evolving Traditions at the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center? The show runs until February 13th and represents the range of artistry and craftsmanship among Vermont’s master furniture makers. If you can’t make the exhibit in person, feel free to check it out for a virtual tour HERE.
Many of our Guild members are invested in the preservation of our forests and are doing their part by refusing to work with exotic woods of unknown origin as well as investigating logging practices that produce local and regional hardwoods featured in the work they do.
You can find work from the below members:
- George Ainley
- Jim Becker
- Richard Bissell
- David Boynton
- Jason Breen
- Timothy Clark
- Nick and Erin English
- Chris Ericson

Special shout out to Todd Bodett for his help in curating our exhibit. And again, if you can’t make the exhibit in person, feel free to check it out for a virtual tour HERE.
