I’ve been designing and building custom furniture for over 30 years. For the last 5 years, we have been posting progress photos and construction details on our dorset custom furniture blog which now has over 500 entries. Included in our designs are references to Art Deco, Beidermeier, Arts and Crafts, Federal styles, and many others. You can order pieces as they are shown on our extensive website, or work with us to create a new design wholly your own. We are flexible and work with many different budgets and design requirements including both residential and commercial work. We have a staff of four furniture makers led by my younger son will, and our older son sam is a custom metalworker who does forging and fabricating in our custom metal shop. We also have a CNC router to speed up production of our more complex designs and inlays, and access to a water jet for steel and brass cutting. Both tools have provided us with opportunities to expand our design vocabulary. Drawings are created and modified using CAD software and easily emailed for approval and modification. We welcome your input and enjoy new challenges.
