Custom Curly Maple Bed With Metal Inlays

This bed was created as a collaboration between our client who worked with us on design, my younger son Will who did the turning, carving, joinery and finishing, my older son Sam who did the metal and patina work on the inlays, and my assistant Trevor who did the cnc work on the headboard and me.  I led the parade and made the drawings for the ducks.  For more, larger photos and a complete description of the design and construction process, visit this post on our online photo journal… This was an extremely challenging and rewarding commission.
