This award-winning wall mirror in carved and painted cherry has spline reinforced miter joints at the corners, and 1/4 ” thick mirror glass. It can be custom ordered in other sizes and custom colors, and is also available in natural versions in cherry, walnut and other woods without paint. This mirror can be shipped easily via Fedex.
This mirror design has won multiple awards, including a First Place Award in the 2007 Vermont Fine Furniture and Wood Products Design Competition. in 2003 it won the Member’s Choice Award and Judges’ Second Prize Award in the show Around The Looking Glass, an exhibition of framed mirrors at The Wharton Esherick Museum, in Paoli, Pennsylvania. It has also been featured in numerous publications across the US, including The San Diego Union-Tribune, Design New England magazine, the Palm Beach Post, and The Arizona Republic, as well as several blogs on design.
In 2023 I made two large matching Taffy Mirrors in Vermont sugar maple in custom sizes and custom colors, for the entryway of a fun and colorful new home in Texas. The two mirrors were featured in the cover story of the Nov/Dec 2025 issue of House Beautiful magazine
