8 foot long custom writing desk in walnut with cherry top, cherry dovetailed drawers and stone drawer pulls. The customer who ordered it wanted a very large surface to work on. It is 8 feet long x 28 inches deep. The three drawers are hung on traditional Danish style solid maple slides that run on slots in the sides of the drawers that are waxed. I don’t usually mix cherry with walnut, but the other furniture in the bedroom this desk went into had this combination and the desk needed to match it.
