The date of the ceremony has been carved in Roman lettering, a great typeface for the chisel. Half-blind dovetails are employed to hold the box together. A beautiful & timeless joint. The lid slides out smoothly in a groove.
The Wedding Box is made to hold keepsakes from a monumental day. The wood is “Plum Pudding” Mahogany, a rare, beautiful, and aptly named figure. It is finished with boiled linseed oil, shelac and wax.
