From Start to Finish: The Tale of a Table and Bed Frame & Headboard

Our members have been busy all summer making new pieces for customers worldwide. Below we’ve compiled a behind-the-scenes look at some beautiful furniture from start to finish.

Dan Mosheim of Dorset Custom Furniture created this walnut dining table with a leaf and Bed.

* The customer sent in a table for inspiration for his custom piece.

The team is hard at work. Fitting, filing, and beveling where the pieces meet. Some individual pieces (beaks, wings, and feet) were made thinner to create the illusion of depth.

The first sample center inlay … cut in aluminum, and it works!
