This award-winning console table features aprons and carved legs in cherry and a highly figured top in Vermont grown curly maple. The top is finished with a hand rubbed poly-varnish finish, to keep the maple as light in color as possible. The legs and aprons are finished with a hand rubbed Danish oil, to bring out the color, warmth and depth of the cherry. The cherry is FSC certified as sustainably harvested. Mortise and tenon construction.
This table won a design award in the 4th annual Vermont Fine Furniture and Wood Products Design Competition in September 2007.
