Meet Walt Stanley, a self-taught furniture maker w Meet Walt Stanley, a self-taught furniture maker working out of a woodshop in the middle of a Vermont cornfield (yes, really!). "People don’t believe me when I tell them my woodshop is in the middle of a cornfield, but it’s beautiful, peaceful, and a great place to get inspired." Walt and his wife, Michele, live nearby with their dogs, Trey and Maggie. After years of wearing many hats—from ski instructor to school bus driver—he turned his passion for woodworking into a full-time gig.
