Vermont’s forests have always been the quiet beg Vermont’s forests have always been the quiet beginning of our work. The same trees that cover Vermont’s hills find their way into our shops, where they’re crafted into something useful, something worth holding onto. A new proposal from the Northern Forest Center is working to keep those forests healthy across Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Northern New York. The goal is to help foresters and landowners care for the 25 million acres that make up the heart of our region. For the Guild, it’s simple.
