We read an interesting article in VTDigger the other day; a news release from the Vermont Grocers Association promoting an awareness campaign for “Shopping Vermont” this holiday season. When interviewed, Governor Shumlin remarked on the Vermont brand which continues to be vibrant, strong and sought after around the world. And commented that we’re fortunate “to have so many innovative and committed entrepreneurs and merchants to choose from right here at home.” Inspired by this effort, the Guild of Vermont Furniture Makers has put together a holiday sampler of festive handcrafted items; for you, for your home, or for someone very special.
(1) Glass from Simon Pearce
(2) Original Watercolors from Gloria Palmer Art
(3) Ornaments from Miranda Thomas of ShackletonThomas
(4) Mariner, Skipper and Captain Oil Lamps from Danforth Pewter
(5) Farmstead Goats Milk Caramel from Fat Toad Farm
