Standing Desk for Mr. Paine

Mr. Paine bought a regular desk as well. In both cases he provided pictures of items he liked. In this case it wasn’t a standing desk but an Eero Saarinen designed dining side table called the Kingwood Server that inspired the desk; Mr. Paine brought me a postcard picturing this item and asked to have a standing desk made in a similar style.   The desk is cherry with a half-round piece of birdseye maple which keeps pencils from rolling off when the top is tilted. Inside is a good bit of storage and the tilting mechanism. The footrest has a brushed brass scuff plate. Call for more information. 603-252-1904
