Custom furniture maker and designer Jim Becker’s woodworking career began in 1979 at a boatyard in Friendship, Maine and continued for five plus years at Thos. Moser Cabinetmakers making Shaker inspired and custom furniture. Since January of 1987 he has been on his own making custom furniture and some cabinetry in a wide variety of styles. His best selling items have been Shaker inspired pieces. However please do not feel limited to ” what you see.” More than half the business is one-of-a-kind work. Indeed many of the Ming Shaker Furniture Line items pictured were the result of custom requests.
