Oceana Coffee Table
Centuries of tumbling in the surf have given a near perfect symmetry to
this granite beach rock, which has been the inspiration for this table.
The arching cherry wood limbs bound and lashed with Manila fiber rope
create the illusion of the rock being compressed. The combined elements of
the piece give it a nautical feeling that expresses my affinity with the
sea. The top is a circular 1/2" glass with a polished beveled edge. This
table can be made in an elliptical version, as well.
