This Joint Stool is made of Black Walnut. The design is based on American colonial pieces from the 17th century. The stool features turned and splayed legs, and pegged mortise and tenon joints. The carving along the aprons is done by hand. The piece has been dyed and glazed. The finish is an oil varnish.
