This standing-height desk is custom built from solid cherry wood. It comes in two pieces-the desk portion separates from the base to facilitate moving it to your favorite location. The lid opens to reveal generous space and built-in drawers for paperwork, pens and other business supplies. Originally used for writing, the Vermont made standing desk adapts well for laptops, handhelds and other tools of today's marketplace.  The cherry wood is hand rubbed with a natural oil finish to help preserve and soften the wood.
